My top 5 in South America!

1. Machu Picchu. The hike was exhausting, but incredible... especially with this postcard perfect shot!

2. Torres del Paine. The yurt was luxurious, staff was wonderful, and the hikes were breathtaking.

3. Alpaca city. I'm sorry, but I forgot the name of this wonderful little weaving town! If it's not Cusco, it's just outside of it... many women from the town were weaving and making crafts from alpaca fur! There, of course, were alpacas to feed and a market to shop from! It was lovely and I could have easily spent more time here. hehe

4.  Neither of us were huge fans of the rainforest, but one thing that struck me was during our night walk tour with the guide. She had everyone turn off their flashlights and I've never seen anything so pitch black before! It was amazing to be standing there in the Amazon freakin' Rainforest in total darkness listening to the sounds around you!

5. Brazil as a whole.

My experience in Brazil (THIS TRIP) would have not even made the list, but the ONLY reason for that is because the weather was crappy.  If the weather had been clear like it had been in all of our other locations, it would have easily made this list!! Just look at the photos below at how gorgeous this country is!!

I learned, while down there, that the city of Paris gets more tourists than the whole country of Brazil, which is very sad and unfortunate. We had no issues or concerns over health or safety during our time there... just muddy waters and foggy statues! Instead of showing you again the images that we took, here are pictures of what it's supposed to look like! We're going to go back at some point for a re-do and I cannot wait!!
